Wii Rock Band

Wii Rock Band is probably the coolest video game in the history of video games. If you’re a music lover (particularly those with an interest in singing and/or playing the drums) then this is the perfect video game for you. Even if you hate video games - you will probably love this. I say that as I am not a big fan of video games, but Rock Band rules.

I am particularly into the singing and drums part of the game as they are so realistic. If you become a good singer and/or drummer on Wii Rock band then you will actually greatly improve your real life singing and drumming skills. How many video games can you play that will actually help you improve your skills at something in real life? I can’t think of any.

The guitar/bass part of the game can be fun too - but it’s not really transferable to real guitar/bass playing, so it doesn’t interest me as much. It’s the singing and the drumming parts that make Rock Band awesome. And totally worth it’s high price tag (I paid over $200 for it after taxes!)

It can be hard to find Wii Rock Band in local stores, so you may want to buy it on EBay instead. You’ll probably get a better deal buying it online anyway. You can also find the additional “track packs” online. (These have extra songs that are not available on the game itself.)

Note: Obviously to play Wii Rock Band you will need a Wii gaming console as well.
