EarMaster Pro 5 Ear Training Software

Ear training is something that far too many wannabe musicians and songwriters don’t really spend enough time with. When it comes down to it, music is a “listening art.” If you can’t clearly hear what you’re playing or what you’re writing then how good is it really going to be?

Certainly if you want to be an improvisational musician you will need to have a great ear and if you’ll have no chance of “playing by ear” (obviously) without a great ear.

As of late I’ve been training my ear with EarMaster Pro 5 Software and I’ve been extremely impressed with how my ear seems to be “opening up” as I use it.

I think it’s a really well designed piece of software. There are quite a few other ear training methods (including other software) out there that I’ve tried and nothing else seems to be on the same level as this. It’s very highly recommended and definitely worth the price if you’re serious about music.
